The leaf of tomato grown in substrate during long season cultivation, is of great importance to its vegetative growth and yield. It is the foundation of the whole plant growth. The importance of the leaf was described ,and of reseech progress of the tomato leaf was exposed ,and the theoretical basis of the establishment about the tomato model was provided.
