Gorgias＇ three propositions concerning existence has threatened the survival and development of philosophy and its influence still exists today. The structure and proving process of Gorgias＇ three propositions were analyzed and refuted and conclusion was made that his propositions were refutable. However, his propositions have successfully predicted the development trend of western philosophy which deserves serious reflection.
