摘要
《断臂山》讲述了一个关于"深爱"的故事。尽管取自美国的同志题材,但它的思路、手法、意境、色调却都弥漫着中国的味道。李安穿过文化的隔阂,以西方人可理解的方式表现东方的伦理,又以中国人的独特理解重现了西方的文化,而更多地,则是穿越中西差异的表层,去探索人性深处普遍的困境与憧憬。这正是李安的价值和魅力所在。
＂Brokeback Mountain＂ describes a story of ＂deeply love＂. Although the story is taken from the American homoerotism, the idea, tact, artistic conception and tone of the story are filled with Chinese taste. Ang Lee narrates a story of the homosexual love between American western bull-punchers. Across the cultural barriers, Ang Lee uses the way of western people＇s understanding to show the oriental ethic. At the same time, he uses the unique understanding of Chinese to reoccure the western culture. Furthermore, he explores the general plight and longing of human nature＇s depths across the western surface. This is just the value and charm of Ang Lee.
