In analyzing the factors affecting the building safety, the multi-layers fuzzy assessment method was used to assess the existing building state. The state assessment is helpful for the further decision on the exiting buildings safety management. It can also provide a system messages on the existing building during the service years to push forward the development of the building safety management.
