摘要
EB病毒(EBV)与多种恶性肿瘤的发生、发展密切相关。EBNA-1是EBV潜伏感染时编码的一种核蛋白,它能调节EBV基因的复制,增强病毒基因的转录,并能保证EBV以附加体的形式稳定存在于被感染的细胞内。利用此蛋白上述两种功能特点,研究者构建了EBV复制子载体,这种载体已被广泛地应用于基因治疗。
Epstein-Barr virus is closely associated with the genesis and the development of several malignancies. During the latent phase of the EBV life cycle, EBNA-1 is expressed and essential for the replication of EBV genome . It maintains EBV genome as a episome stably in the infected cells and enhances transcriptional activation of viral genome . On the basis of two functions of EBNA-1, investigators have constructed successfully EBV-based plasmid, which can be used to gene therapy extensively.
