国外图书馆馆藏评估研究浅析

馆藏评估是对图书馆馆藏资源的整体状况及其功用进行分析与评价,为图书馆的馆藏建设和发展提供指导。近年来,随着图书馆馆藏总量和文献类型的不断增多,馆藏建设面临着新的内容,要协调好各种资源的关系,合理地收藏和利用各种文献资源,科学地对图书馆馆藏进行评估是必不可少的。本文主要总结了近年国外关于馆藏评估的一些理论研究成果,希望能为我国的图书馆馆藏建设提供一些指导作用。

Collection evaluation is analyzing and evaluating the library collections＇ whole status and their function to guide the collection development. Now, as the increasing of library＇ s collections and documen＇ s types, collection develop＇nent faces to new content. In order to coordinate all kinds of collections to use reasonably, scientific collection evaluation is absolutely necessary. So this paper summarizes some foreign countries＇ research about collection evaluation to guide our country＇ s collection development.
