2006年末,本刊曾对北美地区部分企业针对2007年1月1日起美国实行EPA2007排放标准而推出的新车型进行了简要介绍,读者反馈良好。虽然,由于排放标准的实施使得北美卡车市场的销售情况一般,但并没有打击主要卡车生产企业的信心,Freightliner卡车公司、Sterling卡车公司、Western Star卡车公司、Mack卡车公司等相继推出不仅适应EPA2007的车型,更为EPA2010排放标准的实施做好准备。本文作为一份新年礼物送给热爱北美卡车的读者们。

End of 2007, several US heavy duty truck brands, such as Freightliner, Sterling, Western Star and Mack had respectively launched their new model trucks all of which are applied to the standard of EPA 2007. These companies also are fully prepared to launch new models to meet the standard of EPA 2010. The article introduces in detail these newly launched models.
