玉柴自主开发的我国首台满足欧V（相当于国V）排放标准的YC6L-50柴油机，于2007年12月7日正式对外发布。该机型功率176-243kW，最大转矩950-1280Nm，最低油耗189g／KWh，是一款动力性更强，更加节能、环保的新机型。
On 7, Dec. 2007, Yuchai officially announced that China＇ s first Euro V diesel engine was developed. The indexes of this engine -- power between 176-243 kW, maximum torque 950-1280 Nm and low fuel consumption 189 g/kWh -- proved that this is a powerful, energy- saving and friendly environmental engine.
