The intelligent building is in the ascendant, and the integrated wiring system is increasingly arousing the public interest. The drawbacks of the conventional wiring technique and the advantages of the open wiring system are analysed, and the objectives in the design of the integrated wiring system are put forward with an introduction to its 7 subsystems. And finally, its benefits to users and construction principles are pointed out.
