This paper mainly discusses the research on the connotation,the classification,the prospects for development and the operation mechanism of the creative industry.Then it analyzes the status quo,the limiting factor,the market demand and the broad prospect nof the modern creative industry in Dalian.Finally the future development strategy and the realization route of the creative industry in Dalian are provided.
