China is building a harmonious socialist society and has to deal with a series of complex problems brought by rapid economic development. For this, Bell＇s ＂theory of post-industrial society＂ has a great value for reference. In this paper, the background and content of Bell＇s ＂theory of post-industrial society＂ are discussed with the purpose to provide reference for the construction of harmonious society.
