The solid foundation and multivariate feature of Yi study provides a valuable case for our analysis and discussion of the multivariate and localization of China academic research under the present background. An attempt is made in this paper to analyze and study the multivariate approach and localization of Yi study against the background of the evolution of Yi study, with Yi study in Yunnan as an example.
