摘要
通过问卷调查了昆明理工大学2005级两个小班部分学生的英语自主学习能力,收集数据并用SPSS11.5统计软件进行了统计分析,调查结果表明尽管从总体上看本科学生对自主学习的概念并不陌生,但是具备自主学习能力的学生相当少,他们的学习、监控及评价策略有待提高。针对现状,本文提出了相应的教学建议。
This paper reports a study on learner autonomy in college English learning by investigating students from two classes of 2005 in Kunming University of Science & Technology through questionnaire and collection and analysis of data with SPSS 11.5. The results of this investigation show that only a small number of students have the ability to learn autonomously although most of them are generally acquainted with the concept of learner autonomy, and that their strategies of learning, monitoring, evaluating and revising need to improve. According to such a situation, relevant suggestions are given in this paper for English teaching.
