starting from the relation holding between domesticating and foreignizing method, the author tries to analyze the effects brought by the universal and individual features of the schema inbred in the different languages and cultures. Then from the perspective of schema theory, the author touches on the necessity and possibility of the domesticating and foreignizing method in the process of translation in cultural background.
