收养行为将对收养家庭、送养家庭和被收养人三方利益产生重要影响。因此,秘密收养一直是传统的主要收养方式。秘密收养必须处理好被收养儿童的知情权和送养人的知情权问题。尽管秘密收养是主要的方式,但它也有弊端,于是公开收养逐渐被关注。公开收养有自己的优点,也有不足。采取两者并存的方式,兼顾其长处,不失为一种较好的解决办法。

Adoption is the civil legal relation which relates to adoptive family, birth family and adoptee＇s interests, thus every aspect of adoption must be taken into consideration to prevent all parties＇ legitimate rights from being damaged. Closed adoption, a common and conventional practice, has to handle the problem of the fight of being informed on the part of the adoptee and his/her bio-parents. With the disadvantages of closed adoption being obvious, open adoption come as a complement. Both closed adoption and open adoption have advantages and disadvantages, their complementary co-existence is proposed as a sensible solution.
