The paper introduces a kind of blasting cave which is used for destroying abandon explosive materials. Located at a quarry in a mountainous area, the explosive destroy power for once is designed at about 2t TNT equivalent. The actual destroy works indicate： comparing with the work of destroying abandon explosive materials in the open air, working in blasting cave is characteristic of little human and material resource for safety protection, short working periods, little damage to the environment and low relative cost.
