摘要
本文旨在通过对大学英语教学中出现的忽视学生学习兴趣,忽视语言学习的规律及考试的指挥棒作用等突出问题提出解决途径,即:教师以多种途径激发学生的学习兴趣,兼顾大学英语等级考试和语言运用能力的培养,给学生充分的展示语言学习成果的机会等,来提高学生学习语言的积极性。
This paper proposes several problems in the practice of EFL teaching. Namely:the inadequate attempt to stimulate students' interests and arouse their curiosity;the ignorance of the nature of language learning and the ultimate goal of learning English; the misleading function of CET as a directing stick in the teaching process. Accordingly, the Author puts forward her opinion on these. Teachers, first of all, should try every means to arouse students' curiosity and inspire their interest in English; both examinations and mastering a language are two major goals of studying English, we teachers are expected to offer more opportunities for students to have more access to the target language and use it freely. Lastly, There is much to be done to have a more reasonable evaluation system on foreign language skills.
