Retrospects and prospects:practice and exploration of the journal transaction of Progress in Geophysics since 1986

回顾了《地球物理学进展》(以下简称《进展》)创刊22周年的发展历程,总结了《进展》创办过程中的探索与实践经验.根据计量学统计,分析了《进展》目前在我国期刊行业中的地位和发展趋势.认为《进展》经过20余年的发展,已成为国内地球物理学领域有影响的核心刊物.作者也指出了《进展》的不足并给出解决方案,提出了创立一流刊物的发展目标和措施,期望广大作者读者关心、爱护《进展》,参与到《进展》的共建中来.

The article recalls the historical courses of establishing the journal of Progress in Geophysics（PG） and sum up the practical experience in running the magazine of PG for the past twenty two years. The author evaluates the present situation of PG and it＇s intending tendency in sChina scientific journals. A conclusion is given by author that the PG has got grant advancement and become the core journals of China by making great efforts after 20 years. Some shortage of PG is also revealed and the way how to modify it is given by author. The future aiming at crating a topping periodical of PG is ensured and the particular steps for PG are given. We hope all reader and authors of PG to love and care PG, and give it full helping.
