Discussion on Water Culture in Jiangnan Canal Town

从文化、水文化、江南水文化的概念研究切入,分析水文化的三要素,提出水文化主导下的四种城市发展模式。结论是江南水文化传承可与现代生活共存共生,在保持其历史文化特色的同时,仍具繁荣和活力。

From the view of the concept research of the cultural, water culture and Jiangnan Water Culture,this paper advances four urban development patterns dominated by the water culture.It concludes that the heritage of the Jiangnan Water Culture can coexist with the modern life while maintaining its historical and cultura characteristics, while still prosperity and vitality
