Function of Specially-shaped Non-circular Gear in Oval Gear Flowmeter

本文着重阐述了用于椭圆齿轮流量计的特种非圆齿轮设计中采用圆-变形椭圆式节曲线的理论依据,通过理论分析表明了特种非圆齿轮能起到把卵形齿轮输出的变速运动向匀速或接近匀速转变的作用。

In this paper the theoretical basis of applying circular-distorted elliptic curves as pitch curves of the specially-shaped non-circular gear in the oval gear flowmeter is set forth. Theoretical analysis shows that the specially-shaped non-circular gear transforms the non-uniform motion of the oval gear to the uniform or near-uniform motion of the pointer pivot.
