Ce Mo complex oxide ultrafine particle catalysts have been prepared successfully by sol gel method at lower temperature. The effect of preparation condition and thermal treatment condition on the morphology and structure of the oxide particles has been studied by using XRD, DTA TG, TEM, FT IR and BET surface area measurement methods. For the preparation of the well distributed Ce Mo complex oxide particles with the size of 20 ̄40 nm, the appropriate condition is n L/ n M=0 3, pH≤1 5 and t ≤400℃.
