New Ideas,New Beginnings and New Development

中国共产党第十七次全国代表大会为我国高等院校新时期的改革和发展提供了崭新的思路和理念。我国高等院校要在新起点上谋求新发展,就要贯彻落实"中国特色社会主义道路"的新理念,走中国特色社会主义教育发展道路;就要贯彻落实科学发展观的新理念,以科学发展观统领高等院校的改革和发展;就要贯彻落实"四大文明"的新理念,充分利用现有文化优势,打造文化校园;就要贯彻落实"党的领导下以改革开放的精神开创中国特色社会主义新局面"的新理念,要求学校党委高度重视自身建设,以改革开放的精神推进学校的全面进步和发展。

New ideas, new beginnings and new development. As the Seventeenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China provides fresh new ideas for the reformation and development of China＇ s institutions of higher learning during the new era, these institution of higher learning are, therefore, to apply into practice the new idea of ＂the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics＂ by following the direction of socialist educational development with Chinese characteristics ; they are to apply into practice the new idea of Scientific Outlook on Development, and with it to guide the reformation and development of china＇ s institutions of higher learning; they are to apply into practice the new idea of the ＂Four Major Civilizations＂, so as to shape a humane campus by making good use of what they have already achieved; and they are to apply into practice the new idea of creating a new situation in building socialism with Chinese Characteristics with the spirit of reformation and innovation under the leadership of the Party, thus pushing forward their overall development through the strengthening of the self- construction of their Party Committees.
