The paper introduced the application of artificial steel-structure bottom in Yu＇ erya gold mine. For narrow veins with high gold grade which is gentle dip and in fractured surrounding rock, artificial steel-structure bottom is easy to be constructed and safer. Meanwhile, the loss rate will be reduced and more economic benefit will be achieved.
