摘要 介绍了采用移动IP在GPRS和WLAN之间提供移动性支持的方案。针对多媒体数据的特点,提出了分级编码的压缩方案和带拥塞控制机制的UDP传输方案,最后给出了多媒体数据在GPRS和WLAN中传输时的切换方案,并进行了相关实验。实验结果表明,系统具有较好的切换性能,切换速度比较快,并且图像的大小和帧率能随网络带宽的变化动态调整,从而实现了视频的平滑传输。 A scheme to support mobility in GPRS and WLAN using Mobile IP is introduced. According to the characteristics of the multimedia data and the different performances of the networks,the compression strategies with classification coding and the UDP transfer protocols with congestion control mechanism are presented. The tests show that the proposed handoff scheme has high handoff performance, and the size of images and the rate of frames can be adjusted dynamically according to the bandwidth of the networks to realized smooth transfer.
