摘要
科举制凭借制度文明这一中介,对中国漫长的帝制社会乃至当代社会方方面面产生了巨大而深远的影响。随着时光的推移,科举对中国社会的有些影响已逐渐减弱,有些方面则可能更加突出,但其对中国社会乃至人类历史的影响已定格成永恒。我们在政治、经济、文化、教育等社会各方面的改革发展进程中,都必须正视科举的影响。唯有如此,才可能去芜存菁,使我们丰富的历史文化资源得以最大限度地保存、开发与利用。
The imperial examination made great impacts on Chinese society in all aspects, with system civilization as medium. With time rolling around, some of these effects have become weaker, while some others are more outstanding, but the effect of the examination on Chinese society or even the history of human beings will be ever lasting. This is why we should face up to it in the process of China＇s reform and development. Only in this way can our abundant historical resources be conserved, exploited and utilized.
