In the love romances written in the Tang dynasty, some of them glorify a kind of unrealistic spiritual pursuit of love. The writing techniques not only provoke the readers＇ thinking and purify their feelings, but also improve their personality and bring them esthetic enjoyment. Two models employed in the romances——loyalty to love for the whole life in this world and pursuing love after death in another world——possess deep cultural significance and esthetic value beyond time and space, and produce far - reaching influence on the later novels.
