Innovation System in Knowledge-intensive Service and Manufacturing Industry

制造业是近代社会各国经济的支柱,制造业中典型地存在一种作为制造业发展引擎的创新体系。本文通过分析制造业中的创新体系、比较制造业和知识密集型服务,揭示出:制造业中创新体系是由各种表现为异质性的知识密集型的服务活动联结起来的,这些服务有的是政府主导的,是先进的知识密集的政府服务,有些是知识密集型的商业服务,这些服务促进了制造业中经济效率的提高。总之,制造业中的创新体系的本质特征表现为政府主导下的知识密集型服务体系。

Manufacturing is the foundation of modern countries＇ economy and there is a kind of innovation system in manufacturing industry, which works as an engine of promoting efficiency. By analyzing the innovation system and comparing manufacturing with knowledge-intensive services, the paper reveals that the innovation system is the conjunction of various knowledge-intensive services, some of which are advanced public services dominated by government and some of which are business services, and that it is the services that promote the economic efficiency in manufacturing. In one word, the essential characteristics of innovation system in manufacturing are embodied in the system of knowledge-intensive services under government＇ s domination.
