带非线性光环路镜的光突发交换丢包率

摘要 OBS(光突发交换)的设计目的就是有效利用光纤提供的丰富带宽,突发冲突是光突发交换网络发展中遇到的主要问题之一。介绍一种新的突发冲突解决机制,这种方法是基于突发分段和NOLM(非线性光环路镜)的。NOLM与SOA(半导体光放大器)配合为分段的突发包提供光缓冲和超高速光交换服务。还对突发长度符合Pareto分布和负指数分布的突发源在不同的传输负荷下,采用该冲突解决机制时的突发包丢失率进行了计算仿真。 Optical Burst Switch(OBS) is designed to efficiently exploit the enormous bandwidth offered by the optical fiber. Contention is one of the major problems in the development of OBS network. This method is based on the burst segmentation scheme and the use of NOLMs ( Non-Linear Optical Loop Mirrors). The NOLMs are incorporated with SOA (Semiconductor Optical Amplifier) to provide optical buffering and ultra-fast optical switching services to the segmented bursts. Furthermore, the introduced method is evaluated in term of packet loss rate versus various traffic load with Pareto distributed and negative-Exponentially distributed burst length.
