在何其芳的一生中,文学与政治都曾给予他深刻影响。有时文学影响他大一些,有时政治冲动压抑了他的文学创作。他在文学与政治的取舍上患得患失,而这种现象在中国现代文人中比较普遍。
He Qifang＇s life was greatly influenced by literature and politics as well. At times, the former played a more important role, while his literary creation was frequently subdued by political impulse. His hesitation between literature and politics is common among Chinese modern scholars and writers.
