The campaign of choosing moral models through public appraisal in the whole country raised a hot wave of learning from moral models, which reflects the enchancing value of noble virtues in the moral models. Therefore, based on the moral models who are important morality carriers, the article, by analyzing the power and double values of virtue concept itself, illustrates the function played by virtue as an important foundation during the moral construction in modern society and tries to discuss the new virtue requirements for man to match with the modern society.
