Point of care testing brings the new opportunities for the traditional medical system

POCT(point of care testing)是检验医学的新领域,它的发展得益于高新技术的进步,也适应了高效快节奏的工作模式,满足了医生和患者在时间上的需求。针对目前 POCT 在国内尚无规范中文译名的状况,提出了"POCT(即时检验)"新概念理由,并对 POCT 发展中几个关注的热点问题,如质量控制、培训管理、成本费用、传统检验与 POCT 的关系等问题作了分析。POCT 对传统医疗模式带来的新机遇表现在多领域的广泛应用,广大的社区医疗和农村合作医疗,老龄化社会的老年保健都非常需要个性化仪器的快速 POCT检验。

Point of care testing （POCT） is a new area in the laboratory medicine. Its development depends on high and new-technology industries to accommodate rapid turn around time （TAT）. At present, There was no formal Chinese translation. We put forward the new idea of ＂POCT＂, and focused on the some aspects including quality control, management training and cost. POCT brings the new opportunities for the traditional medical system in many areas. Co-operation medical service in urban area and health care of the aged in aging society warrant the personalized medical equipment for POCT testing.
