摘要
汉语动词重叠式语义上具有时间短、动量小的意味,而语用上并不真正表示时间短、动量小;它在语用上具有舒缓的表达功能。形成这种语用功能的原因是:这种重叠式都含有或隐含"一";"一"既可以表示最小又可以表示不定指。其他语言和方言中也有类似现象,可作为印证。
The reduplication form of verbs in Chinese semantically implicates short time and little quantity in action, but pragmatically not so. Pragmatically it has the function of relaxation. The reason for such a function is that such a reduplication form contains ＂one＂ which means both smallest and indefinite. Other languages and dialects can also prove this.
