The Clinical Values of Three Dimensional CT Image on Diagnosis and Treatment in Upper Jaw Fractures

目的:探讨三维CT检查在上颌骨骨折中的诊断价值。方法:对52例上颌骨骨折进行三维CT及二维CT影像检查,分析其各自的影像特征并进行比较。结果:三维CT影像在显示上颌骨骨折的空间位置方面,如骨折线的行走路线、骨折片的移位距离与方向等都有独到的优势。结论:三维CT影像在显示颌面骨折处的空间关系上有很大的诊断意义及治疗指导意义,可以弥补二维CT影像的不足,但不能取代二维CT影像。

Objective： To evaluate the clinical values of the three - dimensional CT images for diagnosis and treatment in upper jaw fractures. Method： The study investigated the three -dimensional CT images of 52 patients with upper jaw fractures and compared them with the two -dimensional CT images in assessing upper jaw fractures. Result. The three -dimensional CT images clearly displayed fractures in three planes of space, the pattern of fracture line, distance and direction of displacement of the segments, but it was inferior to the two dimensional CT images in the display on the anterior wall fractures of maxillary sinus and soft tis- sue around the fracture site. Conclusion： The three dimensional CT images can provide a more accurate representation in all spatial structural relationship in upper jaw fractures. It is very important in diagnosis and treatment. Nevertheless, the two dimensional CT image can be not replaced by the three dimensional CT image even if the three dimensional CT image has much advantages.
