摘要
玻璃纤维纱线在预型加工过程中很容易受到损伤,发生毛丝、断头等问题,严重影响复合材料预型件的加工和性能。通过对玻璃纤维纱线的拉伸、弯曲拉伸以及摩擦性能的测试和比较,发现虽然玻璃纤维具有高模量、高强力等优点,但是其耐弯曲和耐摩擦性能很差:弯曲拉伸时强力下降了40%~60%,而摩擦情况下如果要使玻璃纤维纱线能承受上百次的摩擦,纱线所能承受的张力还不到其断裂强力的2%.因而,弯曲和摩擦是造成玻璃纤维纱线预型加工损伤的主要原因.
Filament breakage during glass preform fabrication has great effect on the performance of the final composites. The performance of glass yarn under tensile, bending and abrasive forces was tested to evaluate their damage process during preform fabrication. The results show that the glass yarns have good performance under straight tensile forces. However, significant load capacity reduces 40%~60% in the loop strength tests and the load capacity remains less than 2% in the abrasion test for over 100 circles of abrasion, shows that the glass fiber is much easier to get damage under bending stress and frictional shear stress generated during preform fabrication.
