论文学优劣的标准——兼与陈思和等关于《兄弟》的商榷

On Assessment Standard of Literature Works——Discussions about Brothers with Chen Sihe and others

余华长篇小说《兄弟》出版以来,受到评论界诸多指责。但陈思和等从民间视角出发得出截然相反的论断。文章认为,一部杰出的现实主义作品必须在形式创造、人物塑造、思想内涵上达到一定高度,而《兄弟》在以上方面均存在严重缺陷。作品的解读是多元的,但并不能因此改变评价其优劣的客观标准。如果任意为之,只能导致黑白颠倒、是非混淆。

It has received many critics in comment circles since Yuhua＇ s novel Brothers was published. But in view of folks, Chen Sihe drew an obviously reverse conclusion. The author of this article thinks that an excellent work of realism should reach a high level in form creation, character depicting and connotation. There exist many limitations on the above aspects in Brothers . A work can be understood in many ways, but the assessment standard should not be changed because of this. If a work is freely understood, it will bring confusion.
