官地铁矿是产于太古界表壳岩系和龙群古老变质岩系内中型沉积变质型铁矿床，在约500～600km^2的太古界古老变质岩系中分布有多处著名金矿床（点），并不断有新发现，具有很好的找佥前景。

The Guandi iron deposit occurs in the Archaeozoic erathem supracrustal rock type and Longqun old metamorphic rock series, which belongs to middle, sedimentary, metamorphic iron deposit. There are many well-known Au deposits （ore spots） in 500- 600 square kilometer Archaeozoic erathem supracrustal rock type, and new discovery continuously, which shows a good exploration prospect.
