UNCTAD and the New International Economic Order

联合国贸发会议是在发展中国家的推动下建立起来的。在联合国贸发会议的主持下,有关国家就商品综合方案与共同基金、普惠制、最不发达国家问题、国际海运新规则以及国际技术转让等展开了谈判并取得了阶段性成果,构成为发展中国家寻求建立国际经济新秩序的重要组成部分。

The establishment of UNCTAD was promoted by developing countries. Under the auspices of UNCTAD, the countries concerned have held negotiations on the Integrated Programme for Commodities and the Common Fund, the Generalized System of Preferences, the problems of the least developed countries, the new international shipping rules, and the code for international transfer of technology, and gained positive achievements in above-mentioned issues. As an international forum on trade and development, UNCTAD will play a significant role in promoting the South-North dialogue and the South-South co-operation, and in questing for the New International Economic Order.
