摘要 伟大的爱国者张学良在国势危亡的历史条件下继承和发扬了中国近代以来的体育思想,在其基础上形成了"五育并重、注重体育"、"抵御外辱、复兴民族"、"体育走进社会"的"体育救国"理念。在任东北大学校长期间,他将其体育理念付诸实施,为东北大学制定了完备的体育发展规划,完善了学校体育设施,引进体育人才,组建各种运动队并组织参与众多的体育活动。发掘、培养、资助中国奥运第一人刘长春是其体育理念与实践的重要结晶和标志。张学良的体育理念与实践为我国体育发展史和东北大学的发展留下了宝贵的精神遗产。 The great patriot Peter H. L. Chang inherited and developed the contemporary idea of PE (physical education) in the historic circumstances of national calamity. His convictions such as "saving the nation through PE", "focusing on PE while paying equal attention to five kinds of education", "resisting aggression to achieve national rejuvenation", and "popularizing PE beyond campus" were thus affirmed when he was the president NEU, what's more , he put his convictions into practice. He formulated a complete scheme for PE development in NEU, the university he started himself, improved PE facilities, introduced sports talents and organized various teams to participate in different kinds of sports games. For example, Liu Changchun, the first Chinese athlete participating in Olympic Games, was discovered, trained and sponsored by Chang. Liu symbolized what Chang thought of PE and did for his convictions. Chang's idea of PE and practice becomes a historical and spiritual legacy that is valuable to both China's sports development and NEU.
