By taking into consideration the trouble of water-drawing pressure pipe＇s slip joint which has existed since the hydropower station commenced operation, this paper analyses the cause of water-leakage, handling procedure and reform scheme, removes the hidden peril which affects the station＇s safe operation and boosts the reliadility of the generator units.
