This paper introduces researches into motivations of physical activities and sports of the foreign children and youngsters on the basis of motivation theory related to physical activities and sports, participating and quitting motivations in competitive sports, motivations of physical activities and pastimes, gender and age differences between competitive sports and pastimes and physical activities standard and motivations. The problems of the existing researchs into intercultural and social motivations.
