Human papillomavirus （HPV） infection, especially with the oncogenic genotypes, is the most important risk factor for cervical cancer,and the distribution shows the regional disparity and ethnic specificity, preventative vaccines that can decrease HPV infection incidence and associated diseases may offer a promising alternative to cervical cancer therapy.
