In everyday life, people depend on electronic information products more and more. Effects that Poisonous and toxic substances which electronic information products contain are harmful to human health become concerned by more and more people. This paper focuses on the demands about waste electrical and electronic equipments recycling in EU, the United States, Japan and other countries and the demands including testing methods which electrical and electronic equipments placed on the market lately restrict the using of poisonous and toxic substances. Meanwhile the paper recommends the new standard which China has promulgated to everyone.
