The production and dissemination of ancient Books in Tang dynasty

唐代是中国古典文献整理、产生、传播与流传的重要历史时期,本文探讨唐代经、史、子、集四类典籍整理、产生与流布的总体情况、基本特点和内外根源,认为唐代的尊孔崇儒、科举制度、文学繁荣等是唐代典籍得以集中整理、大量产生和广为流传的主要原因。

Tang Dynasty is an important historical period,when Chinese ancient literatures were arranged,produced,spread and wend down.This article discusses the general situation,the features and their origins of the four kinds of ancient books,i.e.,classical works,historical works,philosophical works,and belles-lettres in Tang Dynasty.After analizing how they were sorted out,produced and disseminated,this article proves that it is the Confucianism-admired thought,Imperial Examination and literature booming that caused ancient books in Tang Dynasty to be produced on a large scale and spread all over.
