摘要
本文结合1997年3月9日日全食的新疆观测及地球自转变化趋势讨论了发生在中国西周时期的一次日食的记载，以及由此得到的地球自转速率变化值．
Combining the observation of a total solar eclipse in March 9,1997 and the trend ofthe Earth rotation, a record of a solar eclipse occured in Xizhou Dynasty of China and thevariation of the Earth rotation derived from the record is discussed in this paper.
