Enhance Search and Study of Assigning Topics in Test Paper and Promote Deeper Reform of Examination in Institutions of Higher Learning

命题出卷是考试的源头。然而,在相当多的高校,这个环节没有得到足够重视。命题不科学、不合理直接影响了出卷质量,难以公正、客观、准确地反映考试结果,无法发挥考试对教学的服务和调控功能。因此,高校必须提高对命题出卷重要性的认识,加强对命题出卷的研究探索,进一步促进和深化考试改革,提高教育质量。

Setting a test paper and assigning a topic are the source of examination. In many institutions of higher learning, however, sufficient importance has not yet been duly attached to this point. Unscientific or inappropriate test topic would produce very. bad impact on the quality of the test paper, thtts make it difficult to reflect justly, objectivelt, arid precisely the result of examination and would not be able to give full play to the service and coodinative function of teaching work. Therefore, the institutions of higher learning must improve their cognition of the importance of assigning topic and setting test paper, and heighten research and exploration of this sector, so as to further promote and deepen the reform of examination, and raise the quality of education.
