台湾省传统文化和民族民间工艺保护情况初探

Preserving Traditional Culture and Folk Arts and Crafts

台湾省对于传统文化和民族民间工艺的保护工作极为重视。台湾的学者、专家认为,中国是亚洲最古老的文明国家,其文化源远流长。近20多年来,台湾的社会形态产生了急剧的变化,原来的农业社会形态解体,传统民俗艺术活动也随之改变,台湾民族民间艺术面临着消失的危机。因此,台湾省1981年在"行政院"下设"文化建设委员会";1982年颁布《文化资产保存法》;1984年颁布《文化资产保存法施行细则》;1998年,"行政院文化建设委员会"发布《文化白皮书》,在保护民族民间工艺方面做了一系列工作。

Taiwan stresses much on preserving tra- ditional culture and national folk arts and crafts. Intel- lectuals and experts from Taiwan think that China is one of the civilized countries with the longest history and profound culture in Asia. Since the past 20 years, the social formation of Taiwan has been changing very fast and abruptly. The original agricultural social for- mation has disintegrated, and the traditional folk art activities changed much with it, so that the national folk arts and crafts face the crisis of extinction. In that, Taiwan set 'Cultural Construction Committee' as a sub- department of 'Administration Court' in 1981; promul- gated 'Law of Preserving Cultural Property' in 1982; promulgated 'Rules for Implementation of Law of Pre- serving Cultural Property' in 1982; 'Cultural Construc- tion Committee of Administration Court' issued 'White Book of Culture' in 1998, and has been doing series of work to preserve national folk arts and crafts since then.
