A New Study on the Jinyang War

The Jinyang War is an important affair in the Warring States Period. It has been studied by the predecessor schoIars. The profound analysis in the paper centers upon the historical background of the war, namely, the gain conflicts among the clans, the sharp contradiction between the cIans of Zhao and Zhi in particular. It also points out that the co - existence of the two clans can not be achieved eventually because of their restrictive relation of strategic objectives, triggering the war between two clans.
