Recent development of non parenteral delivery routes and dosage forms of Insulin, such as oral, ocular, nasal, pulmonary, rectal and transdermal forms were illustrated. The preparation methods, used enhancers and hypoglycemic response of these forms were introduced. The prospect of development of non parenteral delivery dosage forms of Insulin is bright.
