The paper explored the implied ecofeminist ideas by analyzing and interpreting one of Virginia Woolf＇ s most famous novels To the Lighthouse. It pointed out that man and nature, male and female can become equal in the real sense,by disorganizing the traditional patriarchy culture where the father is always the lord and the principle of binary oppositions is dominant, and by setting up a new union made up with the human being and the nature,which all conveys her ecofeminist ideas.
