随着现代性的深入发展,人们日益感受到现代性的两面性。在现代性背景下社会文明进步与人的发展之间存在着复杂关系。从卢梭、马克思、法兰克福学派以至到后现代主义,都从不同角度对现代性进行了分析、批判和解构。人们愈来愈深刻地认识到必须消除现代性所带来的负面效应,社会文明进步应建立在符合人性的、促进人的全面发展的基础上而不是相反,应尽量消除在社会文明进步过程中所造成的对人性的压抑及各种各样的人的异化现象。

With the deep development of the modernity ,the two properties of modernity are impressed by people day by day. In the background of modernity there are complicated connections between improvement of social civilization and people（ s development. From Rousseau and Marx and the Frankurfud School to the postmodernism , there have analysis ,criticize and deconstruct to the modernity from different angles. People recognize more and more deeply that it is necessary to eliminate the negative effects beginning with modernity. Social s improvement of civilization must be built on the basis of according of humanity and promoting man （ s development. The suppression to humanity and a series of alienation phenomenon caused by improvement of social civilization should be eliminated so far as possible.
